Care
Your Coverini outdoor covers can last many years with just a few simple steps. Your cover is designed to keep dust and contaminants away from your furnishings and may accumulate on the horizontal surfaces of the fabric. It is important to keep your cover clean for best protection against mold and mildew. The best way to wash off these contaminants is mixing a solution of mild cleanser such as Simple Green or Mrs. Myers soap. Gently scrub the fabric with a soft bristle brush and hose off. Do not use abrasive cleaners or brushes. Covers may require cleaning both inside and out depending on wear. Hang dry for best results and never machine dry.
Storage
Each Coverini cover is sold with a convenient pouch for easy and compact storage. Always make sure your cover is dry before it is placed in the storage pouch. You may also gently shake the fabric to remove surface dust and debris before storing. Many clients with multiple covers label the storage pouch according to the piece they are covering. This helps keep items labeled and in order.
Installing Your Cover
Coverini covers are lightweight, making them easy to install. Open your cover and locate the front which is usually lower than the back due to the arm and seat height difference. Slip the cover over the front on both sides. Gently pull the fabric to extend over the back on both sides. Adjust front and back and on both sides to make sure the fabric is even and protects to its full capacity. Fasten the shock cord and clips around a leg within itself or connect opposing shock cord and clips across the entire piece. Proper fastening will help keep your furnish protected and your cover snug and in place. When re-installing your cover, make sure it is installed completely dry. This will help keep mold and mildew from accumulating on and below the fabric.
